We are the picturesque lakes region of Rutland County.
Surrounded by picturesque mountains and bucolic fields and valleys you’ll find the clear clean waters of Lake St. Catherine and the deep vast waters of Lake Bomoseen. Beyond these larger lakes are the smaller lakes of Glen Lake and Lake Hortonia, Perch Pond and others dotting the landscape like playgrounds for the outdoor lovers.
Some of the cleanest water can be found at Vermont’s Lake St. Catherine. With 850 acres overlooking the Green Mountains you can swim, boat, fish, kayak, paddle board, or simply lounge in a hammock. The 117 acre State Park offers recreation, camping and beaches.
Lake Bomoseen is the largest wholly contained lake in Vermont with a large State park within the Taconic Mountain Range. Come and experience the beauty of the Lakes region.
